Writer and editor
in Tokyo.
Intro
I am a great lover of places and I try to capture a sense of them—some sense of them—in my writing. I often write about travel, but also enjoy doing profiles. I try to write thoughtfully and sensitively, with a mind towards sustainability. I’ve lived in Tokyo since 2002 (I’m from California). I do original reporting in Japanese and am available to travel around Japan for work.
